Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Oh My!

To the excitement of many Boulevardizens, Carytown Merchants Association announced on their Facebook Page that Girl Scouts will be selling their cookies in three locations during the month of March.

Each Saturday from 12-6pm troops will set up cookies stands in front of It's Hip to Be Round (Nansemond and Cary), Pink (Cary Court - McCloy and Cary), Double T's BBQ (Colonial and Cary).

Come out to Carytown to by your cookies and support our local Girl Scouts and merchants.

Girl Scouts out in force

The Girl Scouts were out in force this weekend at Roy's Big Burger in Lakeside... I got my thin mints there along with a double cheese Big Burger all the way.They also have a rather natty "where to buy" web page here. http://www.comgirlscouts.org/cookiesaleboothlocations.aspMost food chains are listed along with Cary Town, though one grocery chain is strangely absent this year.
