THAT'S A LOT OF POT! Drug Bust On Idlewood Ave.

Richmond's marijuana market took a major hit on Sunday night after Richmond police received a complaint about the aroma of pot at a residence on the 2900 block of Idlewood Ave.

Astute officers pinpointed the residence emitting the odor and after receiving permission to enter the building observed several narcotic related items.

According to a police department release a later search of the premises yielded 5 to 6 pounds of marijuana and $12,000 to $13,000 in cash.

Police report that resident Bryce T. McClellan was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Hmm, I wonder if this will cut down on the sudden influx of idiots hanging around in groups on the sidewalk of S. Colonial, talking loudly and drinking PBR and PLAYING HARMONICA at 1 am.
