OMG Boulevardizen May Have Been Wrong: Tales of Ben & Jerry's Demise Premature

Sources tell us that Ben & Jerry's of Carytown may in fact NOT be out of business as earlier speculated on Boulevardizen. Close observation of the franchise reveals a sign inside declaring "FREEZER UNDER REPAIR." A freezer failure in the ice cream business is clearly a catastrophic malfunction. The only greater catastrophe in this freezer debacle is the loss of gallons and gallons of delicious frozen treats!

Our original story cited Twitter posts reporting the unexplained closure of the desert shop and conjecture from local fans of competing Bev's Ice Cream.

For Lease Sign

Walked by B&J's this evening, for lease sign in the window.  The location is no longer listed on the B&J's website.  Looks like B&j's is closed.

Ben & Jerry's

Rumor has it that B&J's is moving to the vacant corner next to the wine shop....I guess they want to cut off traffic coming down cary st. to bev's??

au revoir ben and jerry's!

au revoir ben and jerry's! viva la bev's! p.s. Secco is going in next to the wine shop. A wine and tapas bar owned by RCC's owner, Julia! p.p.s. This is the SECOND b&j's that has closed in Carytown (viva la bev's!)
